With the knowledge and insights gained from the Needs Assessment, GreenBusiness WORKS begins the design process. This process is comprised of three elements:
- The specific task(s), skill(s) or behavior(s)to be trained
- The training conditions and delivery
- The budget investment
Some training requirements suggest design and delivery approaches. For example, learning a computer application is best accomplished on the platform through the use of tutorials, and is usually not suited to extensive "paper and pencil" exercises. Instructor led programs may require a Leader's Guide and accompanying Participant Workbook. Behavior modeling skills may require video-based programs for role modeling and reinforcement.
Still, other programs may be best suited to an audio tape series, CBT or self paced instruction.
Regardless of the methodology chosen, however, all GreenBusiness WORKS designed training programs incorporate a high degree of student involvement and participation. These include, but are not limited to:
- Role Plays
- Self-assessment checklists
- Exercises
- Program - specific "games"
-
Tests and Quizzes
