Time:12:15 - Join us for a (virtual) lunch and learn!

Sustainability is evolving and becoming more mainstream. Small cap to large cap corporations and other institutions are increasing investment in and management of sustainability, and see it as a means of gaining the competitive edge. More companies are incorporating environmental concerns into their business and career practices and they know, in order to attract the brightest and best talent, they must have a strong corporate social responsibility program, including an emphasis on the environment.
All these trends are driving many organizations to hire sustainability professionals or increase the number of sustainability professionals working in their organizations.
Join us and learn about who is hiring, what positions companies are filling, how you can be an attractive candidate or, as an employer, what to look for in hiring a sustainability professional.

GRI Training
Leading businesses recognize that corporate social responsibility is good business and that well-structured CSR and environmental practices deliver triple bottom line benefits to people, planet and profits. A critical characteristic of a sustainable organization is having the ability to measure and report the environmental performance of the organization.
Organizations need the ability to provide both internal and external stakeholders with accurate and verifiable measures of an organization's practices that prove they are environmentally compliant and sustainable.
And they need knowledgeable, trained professionals to assist them.
GreenBusiness WORKS is collaborating with BrownFlynn, the first US Certified Training Partner to present GRI Certified Training, hosted by Edelman in partnership with the City of Atlanta.
Who Should Attend?
• Professionals charged with reporting on sustainability for their organization
• Professionals from reporting organizations interested in supporting their organizations’ internal reporting team
• Consultants, agencies and service firms interested in expanding their resources to their ‘green’ clients

The Changing ESG Landscape
Dec 8, 2011
The landscape of corporate reporting on environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance is changing. With more than 100 sustainability-related ranking systems around the world, it is no surprise corporate sustainability professionals are challenged by the volume, frequency and lack of comparability of data requests. And more change is coming – new releases from GRI, CDP and WRI Scope 3 for supply chain analysis – all as precursors to a near future when fully integrated reporting is not an option, but required.
The Quarterly Analyst Calls will address the rapid evolution of sustainability indexes, ratings and ESG investing. They will provide clarity of specific areas to focus as sustainability professionals navigate The Changing ESG Landscape. Learn from independent analyst firm, CRD Analytics, whose SmartView® 360 Platform powers the NASDAQ OMX CRD Global Sustainability Index, Global 1000 Sustainable Performance Leaders, Southeastern Corporate Sustainability Rankings and Buy-side Investment Research on Bloomberg.
